TERMS AND CONDITIONS – Warranty and Remedy Clause 

(12 Month Guarantee – Commercial Terms)


1. Warranty Period

All products supplied by Eurosteer (UK) Ltd are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of supply.


2. Nature of Goods

All products are remanufactured units. Components are not new and may show signs of prior use. Each unit is restored and tested to meet operational standards prior to dispatch.


3. Testing and Verification

All products are subject to comprehensive testing prior to dispatch. Supply of the product constitutes confirmation that the unit met required performance standards at the point of shipment.


4. Strict Warranty Conditions

This warranty applies only where:

a) The product has been correctly installed by a competent professional;

b) The fault is inherent to the supplied unit;

c) The product remains complete, intact, and unaltered.


5. Sole Remedy (Strictly Enforced)

In the event of a valid and accepted warranty claim, Eurosteer (UK) Ltd will, at its sole and absolute discretion:

a) Repair the product; or

b) Provide a replacement unit where repair is not possible; or

c) Issue a full credit where neither repair nor replacement is available.

These remedies are exhaustive and exclusive. No alternative remedies will be offered or accepted.


6. Mandatory Return & Inspection Requirement

No claim will be considered unless the complete product is returned to Eurosteer (UK) Ltd for inspection.

Where any claim includes installation or labour costs, full supporting evidence must be provided at the point of return, including but not limited to:

o Detailed invoice for labour

o Fault report and diagnostic evidence

o Confirmation of installation process

Failure to provide the above at the time of claim submission will result in automatic rejection of any associated labour or consequential cost claim.


7. Labour Claims (Strictly Limited)

Where a claim is accepted by Eurosteer (UK) Ltd:

o Labour reimbursement will only be considered where the product is confirmed to be faulty upon inspection

o Labour will be paid strictly in accordance with recognised Autodata fitting times

o Labour rate is capped at £35 per hour

o No additional time, diagnostic charges, or third-party costs will be accepted


8. Exclusions (Zero Tolerance)

This warranty is void and all claims will be rejected where:

a) The product has been dismantled, disassembled, or tampered with in any way;

b) The product has been incorrectly installed or used outside normal operating conditions;

c) The reported fault is not attributable to the supplied unit;

d) The product has been subject to misdiagnosis;

e) The product is returned incomplete or in a condition different from that supplied.


9. No Liability for Consequential Loss

Eurosteer (UK) Ltd accepts no liability for any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to:

o Vehicle downtime

o Recovery or transport costs

o Loss of earnings

o Additional labour beyond the limits stated


10. Burden of Proof

All warranty claims are subject to verification by Eurosteer (UK) Ltd. Determination of fault rests solely with Eurosteer (UK) Ltd following inspection and testing.


11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this clause overrides statutory rights where applicable under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

However, where the sale is business-to-business, these terms apply in full.
